PETER FALK
Founder, President, LNHA, CAN, LBC
Peter has a degree in health care administration from the University of Seventh Day Adventist, is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a licensed building contractor. Peter has worked for some of the best rehabilitation and assisted living corporations in the country and has vast amounts of knowledge and experience in caring for seniors. With an unlimited depth of resources provided by the entire organization, Peter is very involved and continues to ensure Autumn Care is able to offer excellent services in each community that we serve.
MARI FALK
Chief Executive Officer, MBA, CPA
Mari holds a BS in Accounting and an MBA in International Economics. Mari started her career at Life Care Center of America in the accounting department. After obtaining her Master and CPA certification, she entered Public Accounting working in the Audit department of Deloitte, KPMG and Crowe where she served as Senior Manager. She also served as Audit Manager for Rockwell International managing teams of auditors and engineers and conducting financial and operational audits at the company’s US and international sites. Mari joined Peter to form Autumn Care Management Inc and opened the first location in 2009 at Karns, TN. She now oversees every aspect of the company which includes the quality of service, amenities, care, and programming for each and every Autumn Care Assisted Living Community. Mari has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has been with the company since its inception in 2008.
CHRIS FALK
Vice President of Finance & Accounting
Chris is a Knoxville native and Webb School of Knoxville alumni. Chris moved to Denver, Colorado to attend University and is a graduate of the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver with a minor in history. Chris joined Autumn Care in 2015 and oversees the Payroll, Accounting and Finance Department of the company. In his spare time, Chris enjoys spending time with his dog Tess, traveling, and is an accomplished musician with two albums of original music produced and released over the past 4 years.
Larry Stafford
Vice President of Facilities
Protecting lives and property is in Larry’s blood. As a Certified Fire Inspector for the State of Tennessee, he brings over 10 years of experience safeguarding communities across East Tennessee. After a decade as a Deputy State Fire Marshal and Fire Inspector for the Tennessee Department of Health, Larry now lends his expertise to ensuring the highest fire safety standards. He also served for 8 years as the Director of Maintenance at a nursing home facility, underscoring his versatility and commitment to public service. When he’s not on the job, Larry enjoys the simple pleasures of family life. He is happily married to Amy, and together they cheer on their two teenage children at their many sporting events – from basketball and football to soccer and equestrian events. Larry is also an avid University of Tennessee fan, cheering on the VOLS whenever he can. With a lifelong dedication to protecting others, Larry continues to make a meaningful impact in his community.
Raeleen Stewart
Chief Nursing Officer RN, LNHA, CDP
Raeleen is a registered nurse and a Veteran of the United States Army. Raeleen has over 25 years of healthcare experience including positions as director of nursing, chief nursing director and nursing home administrator. She is certified as an infection prevention specialist for Long term care. Her areas of expertise include state health department regulations for long term care and Alzheimer’s units. Raeleen is married to James and is a dedicated mom to two children and loves spending time with her four grandchildren. Raeleen is a VOL fan and an Oregon fan. In her free time, you can find her on the lake or glamping with her family and dog Jabo.
Christina Frazier
Regional Director of Nursing Services, LPN
Christina is a licensed practical nurse. She graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College. She has been in the nursing profession for 20 plus years. Christina furthered her education at the University of Tennessee, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology, focusing on medical and cultural aspects. In 2018, she started working in Senior Living as a charge nurse then promoted to the Bridges to Rediscovery Director (A program that is based on Montessori skills and activities for residents that have Dementia). She joined the management team as Director of Nursing, focusing on resident’s plan of care, organize and direct the overall operation of the Nursing Department and staff development. Christina is married to Clinton, an attorney, and is the mother of six children. When Christina is not at work, she enjoys watching her daughter dance ballet, and taking the family to the mountains along with their 10- year-old Standard Poodle Miley.
Tabatha Smith
Director of Nursing Karns, LPN
Tabatha is a Licensed Practical nurse native to Knoxville, Tennessee. She began her nursing career in 2012 after graduating from Tennessee Technology Center. Before coming to Autumn Care Assisted Living she gained experience in many areas of nursing such as long-term care, assisted living, home health, and multiple specialty medical offices. She began her journey at Autumn Care in 2015 as the Assistant Director of Nursing and led our company as team captain for the Alzheimer’s Association Walk. Tabatha enjoys serving others in the community and spending time outdoors. She is excited to be back at Autumn Care and to help us provide the best care for all of our residents. She is married and the mother of three children and two dogs.
Judith Hoy
Director of Nursing West, LPN
Judith has worked in the healthcare industry for 26 years. Seven years as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility and 19 years as a nurse in various settings, such as skilled nursing, private duty and assisted living. She believes that caring for the elderly is the most rewarding. Judith joined Autumn Care 6 years ago as a Charge Nurse until she was promoted to Director of Nursing in 2024. She was born in CA, grew up in MI. Judith moved to TN in 1990 and has been married for 30 years. She has 2 step children, 3 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren in Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys motorcycling, hiking, and yard work. She lives on a small farm with 5 acres, 2 horses and a Miniature Schnauzer.
William "Al" Holley
Food Service Director
Chef Al’s culinary career began early on, inspired by his Southern roots. Al’s repertoire flourished during his time at the Downtown Hilton, followed by a career at two local country clubs, where he continued to develop and refined his management and culinary techniques. He is a professional chef with 30+ years of extensive experience in Southern and fine dining cuisine. After his years of experience with country clubs, Al went on to work with restaurants for Clayton Homes, Regal Cinema (Cinnabarre), and The Local Eatery and Grille. Throughout his career, he has managed dining services for small to large parties while supervising and motivating staff to perform to the best of their abilities across every service. Chef Al is married with 2 children and is a doting grandfather.
Pamela Estes
Pam holds a Political Science/Pre-Law bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University. Her experience in Marketing ranges from Environmental/Natural Health industry to Insurance industry and many businesses in between. Pam’s experience includes motivational speaking with Advanced Marketing Systems as well as empowering women’s groups. Pam was recruited to Senior Living in 2020 after having gone through an emotional navigation of the ALF world with her own Mother and Aunt. She began her journey as a Life Enrichment Director, then a Community Relations Director, and is now VP of Marketing for Autumn Care. In her spare time, Pam enjoys cheering-on the Vols and spending time with her husband and kids, indulging in their shared passions for traveling, RVing, snow skiing and boating.
Nicole Bryant
Community Relations Director
Nicole graduated from High Point University with a degree in Psychology. Her education has granted her the experience to help loved one’s cope with life-changing decisions. She continued her career as a liaison specialist, medical scribe and rehabilitation assistant at Concord Veterinary Hospital for 18 years. Nicole finds great peace in helping those in our community find comfort in their new chapters of life. Nicole joined the Autumn Care team in March of 2024 as our Community Relations Director. Nicole is passionate about helping the elderly transition into their new phase of life. She is a native of Charlottesville, VA. Nicole moved to Knoxville in 2017 where she met her husband, Adam. She has 2 children and 4 dogs whom she loves very much. Nicole loves working with animals, gardening, and spending time with her family outdoors in her spare time.
