PETER FALK, LNHA

Chief Executive Officer

Peter Falk is Autumn Care’s Founder and CEO. He has a degree in health care administration from the University of Seventh Day Adventist, is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a licensed building contractor.

Peter has worked for some of the best rehabilitation and assisted living corporations in the country and has vast amounts of knowledge and experience in caring for seniors. With an unlimited depth of resources provided by the entire organization, Peter is very involved and continues to ensure Autumn Care is able to offer excellent services in each community that we serve.

MARI FALK, MBA CPA

Chief Operating Officer

Mari oversees every aspect of the company which includes the quality of service, amenities, care, and programming for each and every Autumn Care Assisted Living Community. Mari has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has been with the company since its inception in 2008.

Alex Bidwell

Executive Director – Karns

Alex is a graduate of the University of Colorado, where she studied psychology and physiology. Her undergraduate career was dedicated to clinical research, but after working with a consulting firm, her interests shifted to the business side of healthcare. She joined Autumn Care in 2015.

Chris Falk

Finance & Accounting Director

Chris has lived in Knoxville most of his life and is a Webb School of Knoxville alumni. He is a graduate of the Daniels School of Business at Denver University with a minor in history. He joined Autumn Care in 2015 and is responsible for accounting and finance operation of the company. In his spare time, Chris enjoys golf and is a skilled musician.



Barry Clark | Autumn Care, Assisted Living and Home Services in Knoxville

Barry Clark

Culinary Services Director

Barry oversees the culinary program for Autumn Care, including menu creation and food preparation. He has more than 20 years of culinary experience, over 10 years in the Assisted Living field and has a passion for caring for seniors. Barry joined Autumn Care in 2010.


Adriane Shakir

Lifestyle Director

Adriane was an elementary school teacher for 23 years. She thought it would be rewarding to dedicate her next career to the older population. Adriane strives to create and maintain relationships with the residents and their families. She constantly searches for new and different activities and adventures. Her residents recently rode on golf carts through an exotic bird sanctuary and took a lunch cruise on the Tennessee River! Adriane spends time with residents in her spare time, going to yard sales and other places. She has been the Lifestyles Director at Autumn Care Assisted Living for three years. She thoroughly loves it and especially enjoys hearing the residents share their life stories.


Rae Aguero

Lifestyle Director at Karns

Rae has a heart for the older adult and creates an environment that is at once inviting and stimulating. She creates, finds and arranges outings and events for residents like performances, clubs, fitness classes, day trips to unique places, and much more. Rae joined Autumn Care in 2011.


Robert Sawicki | Autumn Care, Assisted Living and Home Services in Knoxville

Robert Sawicki

Manager of Outpatient Therapy Services

Robert is a graduate of the  University of Tennessee with a BS in Human Resources and a focus on Corporate Ethics, Integrity, and Compliance. He received his degree in Physical Therapy Studies from South. Robert has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Tennessee from 1999 – Present, and has over 20 years of experience in the Tennessee Health Care system.

 

R. Scott Gallian, M.D., MBA | Autumn Care, Assisted Living and Home Services in Knoxville

R. Scott Gallian, M.D., MBA

Medical Director

Dr. Gallian is originally from Marion, A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he received his medical degree from Louisiana State University in Shreveport. Dr. Gallian is Board Certified in Internal Medicine with nearly ten years of experience in both inpatient and outpatient medical care. His primarily focus is in treating hypertension, diabetes, and preventative health.

Alexandria Cresswell

Home Services Coordinator

Alexandria enjoys working with the elderly and has a mission to spread joy and positivity to the lives of others. Her many years of experience caregiving make her a knowledgeable, trustworthy, and compassionate care coordinator. While she loves making one on one connections with her residents and clients, she is excited to share her experiences to guide Autumn Care’s Home Services staff.

Chief Nursing Officer

My career as a Registered Nurse began with an Associates Degree from a small community college in Illinois. My calling was to be with the senior population and geriatric certified nurse. I pursued a rehab certification, Long Term Care Administrators license and Human Resource Certification. Over my career I have worked as wife, a mother of 2 boys, an Administrator, Director of Nursing, and Regional Nurse. My love for working with the elder population has lead me to Assisted Living where most of my experience is with Alzheimers Dementia.


Tammy Arwood, LPN | Autumn Care, Assisted Living and Home Services in Knoxville

Tammy Arwood, LPN

Community Relations Director

Tammy began her career in healthcare in the late 1980’s as a Certified Nursing Assistant and obtained her nursing degree in 1991. Prior to joining Autumn Care, Tammy has served as the Director Of Nursing in other communities that offer assisted living and memory care for seniors.

Tammy also has 14 years of experience of owning and operating a successful business that she established, promoted and she personally represented her brand of products at National Trade Shows and served customers nationwide by establishing and maintaining relationships with her customers to best meet their needs.

Tammy has a passion for providing care to our seniors as well as their families’ needs. She is focused on placing emphasis on ensuring that their expectations and needs are not only met, but exceeded by the amenities and services that Autumn Care offers.

When you ask Tammy why she has a passion for Assisted Living, her reply is, “I receive great satisfaction in being able to provide those in need with the resources and solutions they need to remain happy and healthy in the environment of their choice by utilizing our excellent caring and compassionate staff, as well as our well established experience and premier communities in the greater Knoxville area.”
