Peter Falk, LNHA | Autumn Care, Assisted Living and Home Services in Knoxville


Chief Executive Officer

Peter Falk is Autumn Care’s Founder and CEO. He has a degree in health care administration from the University of Seventh Day Adventist, is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and a licensed building contractor.

Peter has worked for some of the best rehabilitation and assisted living corporations in the country and has vast amounts of knowledge and experience in caring for seniors. With an unlimited depth of resources provided by the entire organization, Peter is very involved and continues to ensure Autumn Care is able to offer excellent services in each community that we serve.

Chief Operating Officer

Mari oversees every aspect of the company which includes the quality of service, amenities, care, and programming for each and every Autumn Care Assisted Living Community. Mari has over 10 years of experience in the industry and has been with the company since its inception in 2008.

Chris Falk

Finance & Accounting Director

Chris has lived in Knoxville most of his life and is a Webb School of Knoxville alumni. He is a graduate of the Daniels School of Business at Denver University with a minor in history. He joined Autumn Care in 2015 and is responsible for accounting and finance operation of the company. In his spare time, Chris enjoys golf and is a skilled musician.

Estella Bowers

Executive Assistant

Estella was born into a military family and enjoyed being able to travel the country while growing up. She was happy to make East Tennessee her permanent residence 13 years ago. She lives in Maryville with her husband and three beautiful children. Estella started her journey in healthcare almost 12 years ago as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She then became a nurse in 2013 and has worked as a Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing. As an Executive Assistant, she enjoys not only utilizing her past experience in management, but also continuing to help our Residents within our communities. 

Barry Clark | Autumn Care, Assisted Living and Home Services in Knoxville

Culinary Services Director

Barry oversees the culinary program for Autumn Care, including menu creation and food preparation. He has more than 20 years of culinary experience, over 10 years in the Assisted Living field and has a passion for caring for seniors. Barry joined Autumn Care in 2010.

Dr. Robin Mahlow

Dr. Robin Mahlow

Dr. Robin Mahlow was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She obtained a Master’s Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University and was inducted as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Honor Society. She enjoyed the prestige of practicing at the Vanderbilt Asthma and Allergy Center for several years. Dr. Mahlow loved caring for patients and desired to expand her skills by enrolling in medical school. She graduated with highest honors from the Ross University School of Medicine and completed the University of Louisville Family Practice Residency in Glasgow, Kentucky. She obtained her board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. She and her husband Dr. Jeremy Mahlow moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, where she served as a hospitalist physician with Blount Hospitalists before joining HouseCall Primary Care. In addition to practicing as a physician, Dr. Mahlow enjoys being a mother to her three children. In her spare time, Dr. Mahlow is an avid reader and enjoys exercise and attending church.

Robert Sawicki | Autumn Care, Assisted Living and Home Services in Knoxville

Robert Sawicki

Manager of Outpatient Therapy Services

Robert is a graduate of the  University of Tennessee with a BS in Human Resources and a focus on Corporate Ethics, Integrity, and Compliance. He received his degree in Physical Therapy Studies from South. Robert has been a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Tennessee from 1999 – Present, and has over 20 years of experience in the Tennessee Health Care system.

Ashton Waston

Ashton Watson, FNP

Ashton Watson is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her nursing career in 2010, earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Tennessee Wesleyan University in Athens, TN. She later earned her Masters of Science Degree in Nursing from Carson Newman in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and licensed by the state of Tennessee as an Advanced Practice Nurse. Ashton started her career in critical care medicine. She went on to become a Nurse Practitioner and began her career in the field of geriatrics. She currently works in skilled nursing facilities as well as assisted living facilities. Ashton is married and has two beautiful children. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, Tennessee football, and traveling as much as possible!

Carol Huddleston is a Registered Nurse; she obtained her Bachelors Degree from King University. She is married to Retired Sargent Preston Huddleston and the mother of 2 daughters and a son. Carol has spent over 20 years taking care of the Geriatric population. In her spare time she likes reading and taking care of her 4 grandchildren.

Yvonne Blair

Director of Nursing – Farragut

Yvonne was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee. She has over 20 years of experience in healthcare working with the elderly. She started as a Certified Nursing Assistant and worked for 10 years, then obtained her nursing license through Tennessee Technology Center in 2006.She then worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor for 9 years. She is a mother of two wonderful daughters, both of which are also in the nursing field, and a proud grandmother of four. 


Teresa Farris 


Teresa Farris

Activities Director -Farragut

Teresa was born and raised in East Tennessee. She spent many years as an entertainer in Nashville singing until she realized she was needed back home for her own family. She happily moved back to Knoxville In 2010 to take care of family members who were becoming ill. Teresa’s grandfather moved into Autumn Care in Karns in 2011.

He loved it there. Teresa became close to the owner, Mari Falk, and the staff. Not too long after that she was offered a Job as a Resident Assistant and accepted. She had found a new passion for the elderly keeping them entertained with crafts, games, talking, laughing and loving them. She has had many positions at Autumn care since 2011 but her favorite is Activities Director. Her love for the elderly runs deep and she feels God put her where she is supposed to be. She is dedicated to making sure that residents have a smile on their face and joy in their heart as if they were my own family member because really they are.


Shawnna Halw 


Shawnna Hale

Memory Care Activities Director – Farragut

Shawnna was born in Ohio but moved to Tennessee at a young age and has called it home ever since. She has many years of experience working in the geriatric field. She has a passion for working with Alzheimer patients having personally seen its effect on the individual as well as the family. She was given the privilege to work as Activities Director in the Memory Care Unit at Autumn Care in December 2018 and thanks God every day for that blessing. Shawnna has two wonderful children and in her downtime enjoys being outdoors with her husband Chris and their dog Rosie


Carol Long 


Carol Long

Physician – Farragut

Dr Carol Long was born and raised in Ohio. She went to Wittenburg University for her undergraduate and graduated from Ohio State University of Medicine. She served 3 years as a physician in the Airforce in Maine and was a Major when she discharged. After this, she opened a solo primary care practice in Maryville, TN, where she cared for older adults, primarily, for 24 years.

In her spare time, Dr Long volunteers for the Animal Shelter, Kiwanis and is a Board Member @ Compassion Counseling. She likes making pottery and loves to fish, but confesses she is not good at catching any. At the end of the day.. spending time with her 2 cats, Spooky & Chessie, brings her much joy.

Kayla Webb

Director of Nursing – Karns

Kayla was born and raised in Knoxville. She obtained her nursing license thru Tennessee Technology Center. Kayla has ten years of geriatric experience. She loves caring for her patients and enjoys working with their families. Kayla and her husband, Kevin have two beautiful daughters. She enjoys going to church, where her husband is pastor, and spending time with her family.

Rae Aguero

Rae Aguero

Activities Director – Karns

Rae has a heart for the older adult and creates an environment that is at once inviting and stimulating. She creates, finds and arranges outings and events for residents like performances, clubs, fitness classes, day trips to unique places, and much more. Rae joined Autumn Care in 2011.

Brandie Knuckles

Director of Nursing – West Knoxville

Brandie is from Knoxville, TN. She has 15 years of experience working in healthcare with the Senior Community. Brandie takes compassion in caring for others which is what drew her to Nursing. Brandie began her career in healthcare as a certified nursing assistant then decided to further her education as a Nurse. Brandie has a passion for nursing and she takes pride in caring for her residents and interacting with their families. Brandie is very family oriented so in her spare time she loves spending time with her husband and their three beautiful children.

Alexendria Creswell

Activities Director – West Knoxville

Alexandria has lived in East Tennessee the majority of her life. She and her husband find great joy in raising their three children here in our beautiful Tennessee Valley. Alexandria’s journey in health care began with her desire to find a spiritually rewarding career. She worked as a caregiver in the homes of East Tennessee’s elderly for years and continued on as a caregiver at Autumn Care West. Thereafter her career carried on as a Scheduling and HR Coordinator in the Home Care field. Her passion continued to grow for this cause and her mission became to spread joy and positivity to the lives of others. She feels her skill set and love for the elderly can best be utilized as an Activities Director where she can make one on one connections providing love, care and companionship to each resident  

Hannah Green

Hannah Green, NP

Wound & Foot Care

Hannah earned her bachelor’s in nursing from King University and started her nursing career at the University of Tennessee Medical Center with the Vascular Surgery and Transplant service. There she worked with these complex patients for several years. She decided to advance her learning and become a Nurse Practitioner earning her degree from Lincoln Memorial University.
Hannah knows that it is a privilege to provide care for people in her community and she believes that the best approach to healthcare is focused on the patient from a holistic perspective.  

Hannah is a Knoxville native, and loves all things rocky top! When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her husband, cuddling with her dog, and soaking up some sun.
